Biography

Mr. Joerres was named Chairman of the Board of Manpower Inc. in 2001. He has been President and CEO of Manpower Inc., and a Director, since 1999. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of European Operations, Marketing and Major Account Development from 1998 to 1999. He served as Senior Vice President – Major Account Development of the company from 1995 to 1998. He joined Manpower in 1993 as Vice President – Marketing and Major Account Development. Mr. Joerres came to Manpower after serving in various sales and marketing management positions at IBM Corporation and ARI Network Services.
